MENU
The menu is what you would expect from an upscale Italian restaurant. The appetizer selection features traditional dishes such as antipasto, carpaccio, calamari and salads. There is a nice variety of entrées, ranging from pastas and seafood combinations, to veal, chicken and beef. Entrée prices range from $16 to $50. Both appetizer and entrée portions are generous.
ATMOSPHERE
White cloths and black napkins grace large tables, providing an elegant, yet comfortable atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. We sat outdoors and enjoyed people-watching between courses.
OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE
The hands-down favorite was my seafood special, the sole francese ($40). The large, thin filet was lightly battered and finished with a lemon and butter sauce. It came with silky mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
REASON TO GO
This is a great place to enjoy a traditional Italian meal. The entrée portions could satisfy even the heartiest appetite without compromising flavor or presentation.
SERVICE
Teams of waiters worked together to provide a nice balance of distance and attentiveness. The men were knowledgeable about the menu and the extensive wine list. The service was timely without feeling rushed.
NOISE LEVEL
Both indoor and outdoor dining rooms are large, and might get noisy if full. We dined there on a Tuesday night, and the restaurant was quiet but comfortable.
KID FRIENDLY
While Cucina D’Angelo doesn’t have a separate children’s menu, it does provide chicken fingers or half portions of some dishes to accommodate a smaller appetite.

Zagat…America’s 1,000 Top Italian Restaurants 2008
Cucina D’Angelo- Boca Raton
“Ciao bella!” bellow believers in this “romantic” Boca cousin to Lauderdale’s Casa D’Angelo that offers “big portions” of “consistently delicious” Italian food, a “terrific” 1,000 label vino selection and a “pleasant” setting complete with a “beautiful” private wine room and a “lovely” outdoor patio; though a few feel it suffers from “pretentious” airs, the majority makes it the place to go “for any occasion.”
